Comic’s Story

Comic is my heart dog … he was 2.5yrs of age in mid 2008 when he became chronically ill with ongoing bouts of diarrhoea and vomiting.  After numerous trips to the vets and courses of antibiotics during a 2 month period we had an ultra sound performed at a specialist centre.  This was performed in the morning and in the afternoon he underwent emergency surgery for a huge mass in his bowel.  The mass was as big as your fist and was identified as a malignant lymphoma.  The mass was removed with 19cms of bowel and surrounding lymph nodes, we were advised to start him on Chemotherapy straight away, which we did.  We were told that if he did not have the chemotherapy that he would probably survive another 6 to 8 weeks.

He tolerated the first round of chemotherapy pretty well but the second round nearly killed him … first he spent 4 days back at the vets on a drip as he couldn’t keep anything down and was dehydrating, then he came home but didn’t pick up.   Under the guidance of the vet we were hydrating him with a subcutaneous drip each night.  Then he started bleeding from his nose. After an emergency trip to our local vet, they were not able to stop the bleeding so it was an urgent trip to the specialist vet.  His platelet levels had dropped so low he was unable to stop the bleeding himself so his wonderful sister, Firn, donated 2 blood transfusions to him which finally stopped the bleeding after 2 days.

We brought him home and decided that we would stop the chemo and let him enjoy what little time he had left…… more about quality of life than quantity.  The Vet said from their experience observing other dogs with the same cancer and not continuing with treatment, had lasted no more than 6 mths from the time of the original diagnosis…. This gave Comic 3 to 4mths.

I decided to create a collar for him that had the various crystals/semi precious and precious stones on it that supported various systems in the body mainly impacted by his condition.  The matrix in these stones was activated by Carma Burchell a registered Natural Therapist Light Wave Healer. The Specialist Vet is very interested in Comic’s case and is monitoring it very closely.

Comic is now 21 months from the original diagnosis, 3 ultra sounds and 1 chest X-Ray later with no sign of a reoccurrence of the cancer.  He is jumping out of his skin and looks great … back to his old self.

I am in no way claiming that the collar is the reason for his good health at present … all I am doing is telling his story….. I’ll let you determine what is happening in your own mind.
