THE SILVER LINE

The Silver Line collars are  commissioned works of art individually designed to reflect that special relationship you share with your pet. Each collar is created using a range of materials such as Swarovski crystals, precious metals, precious and semi-precious stones, finished with a handcrafted solid Sterling Silver (925) Sniffanys signature numbered clasp. Unlike The Bronze Line, only one is made.

Why commission a piece?

I created this collar for my heart dog Comic.  I found that this was the best way to visually capture our connection.  The collar is the planet earth as seen from space - I set 4 beautiful boulder opals in sterling silver (925) - these represent oceans, I then cut the 4 continents of North America, South America, Africa and Australia from solid sterling silver (925) sheet and attached these to the collar.

The rest of the ocean was created in over 1,000 x 4mm Blue Metallic Swarovski Crystals, 2mm Capri Blue and Fuchsia Swarovski Crystals individually hand sewn by myself. 

Finished in velveteen and hand crafted Solid Sterling Silver (925) Sniffanys signature clasp.
